Bab Jloud and the art of leather
One of the deepest crafts of the medina. In the Bab Jloud area, leather is worked with ancestral techniques: tanning, dyeing, hand-sewing. Babouches, bags, belts, and bookbindings are born in workshops where time moves differently.
"In every workshop in Tetouan, there is a gesture connecting the present to centuries of tradition."
